“Hooray!” I said, as I unwrapped my presents. I was screaming extremely loudly because I had loads of presents. I was amazed that my mum could afford them all because she is really poor. After a while, we were all awake, ready, and the rest of my family had unwrapped their presents.
After that, we had a race to see who could get to the car first to be buckled in. By the way, everyone was included in this race. Eventually, we set off for the journey that lay ahead. On the way, we got petrol for our car and some groceries for lunch. We were at our friends’ house by 10.00 am. After an hour, everyone had joined us. Soon, everyone started arranging everything. By 11.30 a.m. everything was set up. At 12.00 pm we had lunch. But I was feeling sick. I vomited a lot , so I was told “go and have a lie down”. In my dreams the sun was millions of cheese balls, running around the earth. I woke up from a deep dark sleep about an hour or so later. I ate some more delicious food and then I played with my annoying little niece who is only two years old. Who knew that a two year old girl could be so annoying?
Late that night we went home and I felt even more terrible so my mum made me a hot chocolate so that I felt happy.

Fireworks!
The fireworks crashed.
“BOOM!” they said in the distance.
They floated through the air.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The stars glistened in the moonlight.
The fire ran to the light.
Everyone shivered in delight.
The breeze dawdled around the sky, silently.
Fireworks were jumping around in the air.
“POP!” said some of the fireworks!
The baby fireworks whistled.
We all screamed with laughter.
The fireworks whirled and did some crazy dance moves.
The fireworks looked so sick because they were in the sky, entertaining people.
I could see a baby firework saying “HA! HA! HA!” at its mother’s jokes.
The fire was burning colours so bright.
It is a dream come true.
It’s a guy fawkes storm.

The Dark and Spooky Caves
We hopped into the bus and we waited for everyone to board, then we were off. We went through the misty, creepy forest it felt like it was haunted because it was really dark and spooky. I felt a blast of wind. It was really breezy and cold. I shivered and shivered till we got to the caves. I climbed out with everyone else.
I couldn’t wait to go into the freezing, slippery caves. We listened to the speaker silently.I thought for a few minutes. I was terrified to death, making sure I knew what to do.
My group went in incredibly fast through the darkness and we felt like ice blocks in a freezer.
I said, “I’m shivering.” Lights sparkled in the breeze as we walked through. They were shining like stars lost from the sky. I could see tiny emeralds. It really was amazing and beautiful. The dark, gloomy earth in the caves was like slimy icy slides all over the place. Lots of panic surged through me. If only we could fly above, then we wouldn’t slip off the wet part of the caves. I felt like singing a lullaby to calm me down but that would have been very very embarrassing.
Time went by and we were out of the caves. I could see the other groups staring at me because they could see I was shivering, so they thought they would shiver too.
I told them they wouldn’t shiver, and they said,”Thanks, I needed to know that.”
We watched as other groups went in and came out lots of times. While we were waiting outside, we played some games like follow the rope, tiggy, hide and seek and also fairy tale characters against other fairy tale characters and also against normal people.
We hopped into the bus and we waited for everyone to board, then we were off, back to camp and a scrumptious tea.
