Fireworks

The burning, colourful light

Was popping in the night.

Boom! Crash! Fizz! Ping!

The fireworks light up everything.

The flames wizz all around,

Leaving smoke on the ground.

Up go rockets in the air

Going Boom! Crash! like they're watching a fair.

Sizzle! Snap! - in a boom

A fast flame crackled like a balloon.

Boom! Everyone was quiet.

Bang! Fireworks!

Then there was a riot.
