Our Quad Blogging Buddies have shown us how lucky we are to live in the "Winterless North" of New Zealand. We have swimming lessons for most of the first and fourth terms because our pool is solar heated and we have a special cover to help keep the water warm overnight.
Our lovely warm weather means we can play sport outside with bare feet for a lot of the year. It's beginning to get a bit colder now. When the weather gets drizzly, we have a huge canopy that we play under. That means we still get some exercise and fresh air. Sometimes, though, it is just too miserable and we have to stay inside.
Our school is the Rippa Rugby champion. We beat all the other schools in New Zealand last year.
Camp is coming up next Tuesday. We are going to Marsden Bay. We hope it doesn't rain because we want to go on the flying fox, the water slide, fishing, the abseiling wall, the caves and all the other activities.
We will try to blog from camp. We are looking forward to hearing back from you.
